UK-based building maintenance business PTS has appointed Maxine Frost as its new renewables director to push forward the development of its product portfolio and service offering.
The new position reflects the importance of growing this sector within the company, it said, and the potential role renewable energy has to play in the future of the plumbing and heating industry.
Maxine said, 'PTS has worked to remain at the forefront of developments in the renewables sector. Launching its first 'Green Room' showroom in 2007, a dedicated renewable energy branch to provide advice and wider stock options in 2009, plus additional initiatives along the way, PTS has consistently demonstrated its on-going commitment to this technology.
'I want to build on our existing expertise to ensure that PTS has the product choice and service offering to remain a major player in this ever growing and changing sector.'
