Clean energy products company Acta saw its share price rise today as it announced it had formed a €2.45m contract with an Italian investment group to sell a portfolio of its Toscana photovoltaic (PV) authorisation pipeline.

The company said the agreement is for 9.5MW of consent-only sales, which in total represents ten projects.
Paolo Bert, CEO of Acta, said the contract was a significant milestone in the development and growth of its PV business.
‘The company has successfully completed the development and sale of authorisations during 2010 and plans to increase engineering, procurement and construction [EPC] contract sales in 2011, which will support our already strong authorisation pipeline activity.’
He added, ‘This achievement will help to drive the 2011 revenue figures and will strengthen Acta’s positioning in the sector going forward.’
Acta said it is now in negotiations to sell EPC contracts into these ten projects in the first half of 2011, which will increase revenue levels and compliment these high-margin consent sales.
