Wind farm developer PNE Wind has installed four turbines at the Elze wind farm in the Wesemark district of Lower Saxony in Germany, making it the fifth of seven wind farms the company is due to erect for EnBW Erneuerbare Energien.

The four Enercon E53 wind energy systems have a total height of 100 metres and an aggregate power rating of 3.2MW.
The wind farm has now been commissioned and is in EnBW Erneuerbare Energien’s possession.
PNE Wind said it is also in the process of constructing another 12MW wind farm.
PNE Wind board chairman Martin Billhardt said, ‘We have a trusting and successful working relationship with EnBW Erneuerbare Energien and are very pleased about the handover of this new project. Due to our extensive project pipeline, we are confident of being able to hand over many more wind farm projects to our customers.’
