Helios Solar supplies 1.7MW of power for Marine Corp in California

US photovoltaic (PV) manufacturer Helios Solar Workssupplied Dynalectric San Diego with 1.7MW of panels for a project at the Marine Corporation Recruiting Depot (MCRD), California.

 

The facility was commissioned on 9 July and, together with other deliveries, marks 3MW of modules Helios has supplied to the MCRD.

The latest project is a ground-mounted installation adjacent to the MCRD centre.

Steve Ostrenga, CEO of Helios Solar Works, said, 'Having formerly been in the US Army Reserve, I am proud to have Helios modules on the MCRD.

'Energy security is paramount to our national security and Helios will continue to partner with strong contractors like Dynalectric to serve our Armed Forces by providing cost effective solutions.'
