US company Nautilus Solar Energy has signed a financing agreement with Rabobank subsidiary De Lage Laden that will fund a minimum of $25m worth of solar installations in 2012.
The credit facility will be used to fund projects in Florida, California and the north-east of the US.
Laura Stern, president at Nautilus Solar Energy, said, 'Nautilus is extremely excited to enter into the facility with De Lage Landen, which will enable the company to accelerate development through the expiration of the 1603 cash grant programme.'
Mark McGovern, general manager of clean technology for De Lage Landen, added, 'We're very pleased to partner with Nautilus Solar Energy and to have the opportunity to help them expand installations throughout the US.'
Last month, Nautilus completed solar photovoltaic (PV) installations in three rooftops in Ontario, Canada.
