The company said it is also experiencing growing demand for wind investments from Poland and Bulgaria.
It said the two customers in Romania have each ordered four N100/2500 machines along with long-term service agreements.
In addition, alongside growing its Romanian presence Nordex is said to be particularly focusing on Poland. It has already established a Polish subsidiary, through which it has connected 93MW to the grid. In addition it hopes to add a further 50MW by the end of 2011.
In August, the company said it was looking to form strategic tie-ups as it targets both the offshore and Asian markets.
It has also publicly stated that it is on track to in revenues of €1bn over the course of the year.
