Satcon Technology, a provider of utility scale power conversion solutions for the renewable energy market, has appointed Aaron Gomolak as its chief financial officer and treasurer.

Gomolak, who has worked at Satcon in a number of roles since May 2008 but most recently as senior vice president of global operations, will replace Donald Peck.
Steve Rhoades, president and CEO of Satcon, said, ‘I am pleased to have Gomolak as part of my leadership team as we take the company to the next level of growth and profitability. As we intensify our expansion into new markets and geographies with our industry leading utility solar solutions, [Gomolak’s] deep international experience will be instrumental to Satcon’s long-term success.’
Prior to joining Satcon, Gomolak was with Advanced Energy Industries, a publicly traded company that provides power conversion products to renewable energy markets.
The company’s finances have gone from strength-to-strength since the beginning of the year and after the first quarter it reported revenues jumped 321 per cent over the same period last year to $62m as the demand for its utility-scale solar systems continue to climb.
