Small-scale wind turbine manufacturer Endurance Wind Power won sales orders totaling $5m last week, the highest yet record by the company, with 50 units ordered in the first quarter.

The sales secured equate to 90 per cent of the total sales of 2010.
The company is exhibiting growth and has brought on Peter Tyszewicz as COO and Greg Wright as CFO to lead in-house strategy. It has partnered with new dealers in the UK and has also introduced North America’s largest single phase wind turbine towards the end of 2010.
Last month, Endurance was listed on British Columbia’s ‘Ready to Rocket,’ which selected the company as poised for exceptional revenue growth and as the revenue growth leaders of tomorrow in the cleantech sector.
Kevin Heaney, vice president of worldwide sales and marketing, said, ‘This is a monumental milestone for Endurance Wind Power. The success of these sales figures is attributed to every aspect of our business operations from the conceptual engineering that encompasses our products to the dealers we partner with that deliver outstanding customer service.
‘The result of all our operations working together effectively is a series of satisfied customers that have helped build our rising sales volume organically.’
