China-based solar manufacturer JinkoSolar is to supply a large volume of modules to German company Payom Solar this year, as the result of a newly-inked contract.
The solar modules, which have an aggregate capacity of 35MW, will be installed on rooftop and ground-mounted projects in Europe and the US, the NYSE-listed company said.
‘Our new supply agreement with Payom Solar reflects continued recognition and implementation of our high quality products and builds upon our established track record with leading solar companies around the world,’ said JinkoSolar chief strategic officer Arturo Herrero.
‘Given Payom Solar’s robust sales and distribution capabilities in the US as a result of its acquired partner company, Amsolar, this agreement marks another important step toward our goal of expanding JinkoSolar’s business in the US.’
JinkoSolar, based in Jiangxi Province and Zhejiang Province in China, has built a solar product chain from recovered silicon materials to solar modules.
