Nasdaq-listed solar inverter provider Satcon Technology is to supply solar inverters for a 19.5MW Tauberlandpark solar project in Wertheim-Dörlesberg, Germany under a new contract.

It has received an order for 39 PowerGate Plus solar inverter solutions, each rated at 500kW, from German renewable energy project developer relatio.
Satcon said the order is the largest inverter order it has secured in Germany, marking its growth in the European utility-scale solar market.
Andreas Schneider, CEO of relatio, said, ‘A project of this scale demands that we partner with an industry leader who brings both the high quality technology and experience that will deliver the highest levels of performance and reliability to our customers.’
Satcon’sPowerGate Plus 500KW inverters are the most widely-deployed inverters in the world, having sold 1.5GW since introducing the product in 2005, according to the company.
