EnXco Service, a subsidary of European utility an EDF Energies Nouvelles, has signed an operations and maintenance agreement with Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA) for the 50MW Linden wind project in the US state of Washington.

The Linden Wind Farm was developed by enXco for SCPPA on behalf of participating members of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the city of Glendale.
The project comprises 25 REpower MM92 turbines and began commercial operations in June 2010.
Dave Luck, director of business development at enXco, said the company is pleased to have been selected by SCPPA.
‘Linden adds to our rapidly growing portfolio in the NorthWest Region,’ Luck said.
EnXco already has 5,200 turbines nationwide, representing 4,600MW of wind energy.
