The new Mercedes-Benz' E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid diesel passenger car has earned the TÜV Süd Life Cycle Assessment Environmental Certificate based on ISO 14062 standards. Over its entire life cycle, from production through recovery, the vehicle is estimated to release 23 percent less CO2 emissions than a comparable Mercedes E 300 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, the company said.
