UK-based solar photovoltaic (PV) park developer mO3 Power has closed a second investment round which included a commitment from high-profile investor Tom Singh, founder of fashion retailer New Look and one of UK’s wealthiest individuals.

Singh, who rarely takes directorial positions, has also joined the company’s board.
‘mO3 have a compelling business case, and will, I am sure, be the volume player in the UK solar PV market,’ said Singh.
‘The company has put together a winning combination of suppliers and banks to deliver on its significant pipeline of sites.’
mO3 develops, builds, owns and operates large-scale solar PV parks, up to a 5MWp maximum.
‘I’m sure this investment and board appointment will be widely seen as a huge vote of confidence in both the sector and mO3 itself,’ said Ken Moss, the company’s CEO.
