Wind company Sauer Energy has fully acquired the assets of the Helix Wind, with the latter now being incorporated into Sauer's business group.

 

On completion of the purchase, Helix assets become a division of Sauer Energy, which plans to keep the brand name as well as the website of Helix Wind since it has prominent exposure around the world.

Dieter Sauer, CEO and president of Sauer Energy, said, 'We welcome Helix as a new division of Sauer Energy. Our shareholders will be pleased to learn that the purchase was made using Sauer Energy common shares.

'We purchased only the assets, therefore there are no liabilities, no obligations or debt whatsoever to Sauer Energy.'

Sauer Energy added that its interest was vested in the Helix Wind turbine models. Now the company has complete access to the technology it can push forward in the marketing strategy.
