The UK Court of Appeal has said it will defer any decision on the solar feed-in tariff debate.
It is reviewing the Department of Energy and Climate Change's case against a previous ruling that a planned change to the subsidy rate was legally flawed.
According to a number of press reports, the court believes it is 'rather optimistic' to think a decision will be made this week.
In December, the country's high court ruled that the implementation date of the cut to the FIT was illegal - a move celebrated by much of the industry.
