Independent company Nautilus Solar Energy has completed three rooftop photovoltaic (PV) installations in Ontario, Canada, with a combined capacity of 1.25MW.
Nautlilus is leasing the roof space from E&E McLaughlin warehousing with the facilities set to provide a 20-year income under the Ontario Power Authorities feed-in tariff (FIT) programme. The panels were implemented by Advanced Green Technologies.
Nautilus currently has three more microgeneration projects under construction in the province with a further 10MW pipeline seeking approval.
James Rice, CEO of Nautilus, said, 'These projects represent the first of many in our Ontario rooftop program. Ontario has shown great leadership by implementing the FIT programme. We at Nautilus Solar are excited to help the province meet its renewable goals.'
David Munsky, Nautilus Solar's director of business development, added, 'We are actively growing our executable pipeline and we welcome the opportunity to review additional opportunities from other developers and property owners.'
