Spanish wind turbine maker Gamesa has reached an agreement with the renewable energy arm of Polish utility Polska Grupa Energetyczna (PGE) to sell off a 60MW wind farm in the country.
Gamesa will supply and install 30 Gamesa 2MW wind turbines in the wind farm, currently under construction.
Under the terms of the deal, the sale of the wind farm will be completed after commissioning, which is scheduled for second quarter of 2012.
Gamesa's portfolio in Poland totals 768MW of wind farm projects at varying stages of development, with 108 MW of which are under construction.
Its Eastern Europe portfolio - including Romania and Bulgaria - now exceeds 1.1GW.
