UK energy efficiency and renewables business Anesco has won a contract to build a 250kW ground-mounted solar power plant for micro-generation company Farm Power Generation. It will also provide multi-year maintenance services.

Anesco provides insulation solutions, ground source heat pumps, and renewable micro-generation equipment to homeowners, businesses and local governments.
The company was founded by Adrian Pike and Tim Payne, both alumni of Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE).
SSE and venture cleantech-focused venture capital firm zouk provided funding for the start-up.
