Wind energy giant Vestas is continuing its positive start to 2010 with a 50MW from China-based Hebei Construction Investment New Energy Company (HCINEC).
The order comprises 25 units of its V90 model, to be installed at the DaqingheYanchang wind farm in Laoting County, Hebei province, China.
Jens Tommerup, president of Vestas China, said the order win is symbolic of the recognition and trust of customers.
‘We aim to assist our customers with effective risk management and continuously deliver a low and predictable cost of energy and eventually increase their return on investments,’ Tommerup said.
HCINEC and Vestas first started working together in 2008, through its subsidiary Chongli construction Investment Company.
