TGC Renewables connects 1.7MW solar project to UK grid
UK-based clean energy project developer TGC Renewables has completed installation of a 1.7MW solar farm in Newquay, South West England. The 12-acre Trevemper project is now connected to the grid and is set to provide a regular income for the site’s landowner and local community. |

Pattern, Samsung finalise 870MW turbine order with Siemens
The Pattern Energy Group and Samsung Renewable Energy have completed an expanded agreement with Siemens to supply wind turbines to four projects with a combined capacity of 870MW in the province of Ontario, Canada. This will create up to 600 jobs at factories in Windsor and Tillsonburg. |

New York partnership makes lease application for 700MW offshore project
The Long Island – New York City Wind Collaborative has taken the next step in developing a proposed 350MW offshore wind farm by filing a lease application with the US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE). The preliminary application is for development rights on the site which is between 13 and 17 miles off the coast of Long Island, New York, and which could be extended to 700MW. |
