TGC Renewables connects 1.7MW solar project to UK grid
UK-based clean energy project developer TGC Renewables has completed installation of a 1.7MW solar farm in Newquay, South West England. The 12-acre Trevemper project is now connected to the grid and is set to provide a regular income for the site’s landowner and local community. |

Pattern, Samsung finalise 870MW turbine order with Siemens
The Pattern Energy Group and Samsung Renewable Energy have completed an expanded agreement with Siemens to supply wind turbines to four projects with a combined capacity of 870MW in the province of Ontario, Canada. This will create up to 600 jobs at factories in Windsor and Tillsonburg. |

TradeWind signs PPA for 202MW US wind farm
US developer TradeWind Energy has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Alabama Power for electricity produced from the planned 202MW Chisholm View wind farm in Oklahoma. |
